나라짱닷컴에서는 세계적인 재즈피아니스트 쉐드릭 미첼을 초청하여
6월 14일 저녁 7시 압구정 예홀에서 공연을 갖습니다.
쉐드릭 미첼은 장나라 아시아통합음반 수록곡 '신기루'의 작곡자입니다.
'신기루'는 중국어로 '하이스선로우',
일본어로 '씬키로'라는 제목으로 3개국어로 부른 노래입니다.
음반을 준비하던 작년 9월 장나라의 기존 앨범의 노래를 들어본 쉐드릭이 흔쾌히 자신의 곡을 장나라에게 주었으며,
올해 1월 장나라가 작사한 곡에 쉐드릭이 직접 피아노 연주를 하여 음반을 제작하게 되었던 작곡가 입니다.

이날, 장나라가 이분을 소개해드리며 진행을 하고,
신기루를 비롯한 두어곡의 노래도 쉐드릭의 반주에 맞추어 부르게 될 것입니다.

세드릭 미첼(32세)은 현재 뉴욕에서 재즈 피아니스트, 오르간 연주자 및 팝 프로듀서로
동시대의 음악인들 중 최고의 기량을 인정받고 있습니다
대다수의 메이저 재즈 및 팝 아티스트들과 광범위하게 투어 및 음반작업을 해왔으며 현재는
Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Patti Labell, Peter Gallagher 등등 많은 탑 아티스트들의
작곡 및 프로듀싱을 담당하며 Jazz 연주자로써 뿐만 아니라 Pop,R&B Hip Hop 및 Rock,
Blues,Gospel 등등 거의 모든 장르에서 그의 뛰어난 음악적 역량을 펼치고 있습니다.
또한 10세때부터 시작한 가스펠 연주 경험을 바탕으로 피아니스트로써 뿐만 아니라
현재 미국에서 차세대 B-3 하몬드 오르간 연주자중 가장 활발하게 활동 중입니다
곧 새로운 Jazz 앨범과 레슨DVD가 선보일 예정이며
